HISPANIC COMMISSION SEES CHANGES: The Commission on Spanish Speaking Affairs has been renamed to the Hispanic Latino Commission of Michigan. The commission will still be under the Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth, but will now meet six times a year instead of monthly. It has also changed the rule about who can serve as a commissioner, no longer limiting service on the commission only to those of Hispanic origin.
