After some health issue delays, Roger Bresnahan and I about have our act together to assist MSU grad students seeking funding for international dissertation research this year. Here is our workshop plan for the semester, substituting for our usual International Social Science Research semester-long seminar for proposal writing which is not offered this year:

A two-and one-half hour Workshop
(open to all MSU grad students – no preregistration)
These two 2&1/2-hour workshops are open to all students gratis. These workshops are a substitute for the International Social Science Research Seminar normally offered each fall semester but which will not be offered this year.
Open to all MSU graduate students - US and foreign –planning to write proposals for funding dissertation or pre-dissertation research abroad for deadlines in 2018 or -2019 - especially the IIE Fulbright , Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Abroad, NSF, and Ford Minority Fellowships.
