New Globes and Wall Maps

Categories:

The MSU Map Library has three new very large wall maps. The first measure in at nearly 9 feet wide and depicts the earth's physical features. It is mounted on two wooden rails and can be hung by a cord. The world map 'Climate of the Earth' is "only" 6 1/2 feet wide, also on wooden rails, but is brightly colored with detailed climate zones. The last one is Great Lakes, a raised relief vinyl map of our favorite corner of the world. These maps are availble for use in the Map Library and may circulate short-term to faculty and staff with special permission. We also have a beautiful new 16" globe on a floor stand, and a desk globe featuring a dry-erase markable surface.
